sPandora
sPandora, the PAN Dimensional Rapid Analyzer for a single gene, is a focused tool for in-depth exploration of individual genes. It allows users to investigate gene expression patterns across species, tissues, spatial contexts, and conditions, revealing the gene's role in biological processes. This module also provides network analysis to identify upstream and downstream regulatory relationships and cross-species conservation analysis to uncover evolutionary insights into the gene's function.
Users can select or enter a specific gene and analyze its expression trends in different biological contexts.
In the Species dimension, sPandora displays heatmaps of the selected gene across different species in neural-related cell types. In the Region dimension, after selecting a species, users can observe heatmaps of the gene’s expression across different brain regions. The Devo dimension enables users to examine heatmaps of the gene’s expression across different developmental stages after selecting a species. In the Diz dimension, after selecting a disease category from eight major disease groups, users can explore heatmaps of the gene’s expression across various disease datasets. Lastly, the Space dimension presents heatmaps of the gene’s expression across spatial transcriptomics datasets, allowing users to study its spatial distribution in different experimental conditions.
