Turtle
In the Turtle module, we selected the top five differentially expressed genes for each cell type. We then examined the expression of these genes in seven evolutionary distinct species: the striped bamboo shark, alligator gar, West African lungfish, Brazilian turtle, pigeon, mouse, and human. These cross-species expression patterns were visualised using the sc.pl.dotplot function, providing a comparative perspective across the selected organisms.
