Brief introduction of ScGeneBank:
scGeneBank is an intuitive platform that combines single-cell transcriptomes from 136 species with 597 curated gene sets across 28 biological categories, enabling cross-species, organ- and cell-type specific analysis. Its eight interactive module, GeneSets, Species, EvoScreening, OrganScreening, StemAtlas, AgingScope, PathoView and DeathMap, facilitate exploration of evolutionary patterns, stemness, aging, disease and cell-death signatures with detailed gene-level annotations.
OrganScreening
OrganScreening enables cross-organ expression profiling at single-cell resolution. This module allows you to select a specific cell type and one or more functional gene sets and explore their expression patterns across human organs. The result is displayed by a bubble plot, with each row representing a geneset and each column an organ (e.g., brain, heart, liver, lung, kidney, spleen, testis, and others). Bubble size and color indicate expression levels within the selected cell type across tissues.
